👉The idea of organizing Parent Orientation Program –
👉To speed up the progress of the child – to understand the school curriculum – assessment method – strength and weakness of the child – suggestions and feedback.
👉Parent orientation program is usually held in the month of June/July. Parents would be able to implement the learning process at home as well, ensuring that student doesn’t lose continuity in learning. Teachers suggest more creative ways to teach, which could aid in the better learning of the students.
👉Child development is another area the parent orientation program focuses on. The teachers and the parents can discuss the progress being made by their students, and discuss problem areas to find a solution.
👉They often serve as a powerful motivator for students. Breaking away from the routine, provides kids with a refresher that might make them more focused back in the classroom.
👉In the class, children read their books and listen to their teachers but Field trip, combines education and entertainment and thus is more beneficial to the students.
👉Field Trip helps in create new neuro-connections in the brain of a child. Students are rejuvenated and understand that learning too can be fun.
👉At Funvalley, we have two field trips every year. We take our children either to Zoo-Park, Visit to Aquarium, Goshala, Post office, Pottery workshop, Museum, Traffic police station, Radio station, Visit to a Nursery etc.
👉On the day of Pyajama Party, Children wear their favourite pair of pyjamas to school, bring a sleeping bag/blanket and pillow, and bring their favorite toy “bedtime friend”.
👉School is decorated with colourful lights to welcome our little ones. “Pyjama party” entertainment includes games, music, dance, Puppet show, bonfire, snacks and delicious dinner.
👉After settling on their sleeping bags, our little ones can rest on their pillows and listen to the teacher read some bedtime stories.
👉Children are encouraged to take turns introducing their classmates to their special toy “bedtime buddies”.
👉Fun Wednesday – One day in a week is kept to make children become informal in their learning activities hence the Fun Wednesday concept. This will also enable them to improve their vocabulary skills and improves their communication skills.
👉First Wednesday of month is celebrated as “What my Mam says” or Colours day
👉Second Wednesday of the month, we celebrate ‘Birthday’ of our Funvalley children who are celebrating their birthday in that particular month
👉Third Wednesday of the month is celebrated as ‘Go Green day’
👉Fourth Wednesday of the month is celebrated as ‘Sports day’
Yoga Day – At Fun Valley, every year we celebrate Yoga day on 21st June. Our children perform different asanas on Yoga day. We believe in “Health is wealth” & “Health is happiness”. To inculcate the value of good health, we celebrate the Yoga day. Yoga is mindfulness practice that aims at disciplining the mind and the body. Yoga helps children to be calm and to develop patience. Yoga plays a critical role in maintaining physical and mental wellness, Yoga leads to follow healthy lifestyle and enhance their physical conditions.
Multi-Cultural Festival Celebrations – It is very important for our children to respect and learn about various festival celebrated in India. Given the diverse culture of our nation, we always make sure our children learn and respect every individual and culture. Irrespective of the religion, the festivals in India bring every individual citizen in this country together. The same message is passed-on to our next generation by making children participate in various festival celebrations in the school.
Stage Smart – Communication is one of key factor in the growth of child and this is the backbone for better society. Speaking effectively and efficiently is one of the key for communicating our ideas to the world. We at Funvalley provide an opportunity to each and every child to learn this communication skill and make them speak without any fear in front of big audience. A Stage Smart is conducted every year where a child is given a topic to speak in front of big gatherings (mostly parents)
Fun Gallery – We at Funvalley believe that seeing is believing hence we make our child develop and build his or her ideas into a model and present to the world. Every child has his / her own way of expressing views and ideas. With the Fun Gallery event, children build / develop various models to express their thought process and learnings. This event also brings out their creative side of art and craft. All these models are displayed as a Gallery for an exhibition to the parents.
👉Sports Day at Funvalley is an extra-ordinary event professional event enjoyed by both children and parents. Sports is one of such area that help build values to child’s personality. Sport provides equal opportunity to every child to perform and excel. Sport helps build and develop child physically and mentally.
👉Sports Day at Funvalley is conducted once a year (during the month of November). Event is organized in a major Sports Stadium where we have full parade followed by the lamp-lightning event. Post the lamp lightning event, kids welcome the audience with their performances
Parents Day – Parents are our backbones to success of our philosophy. This day is celebrated in the month of July every year to promote responsible parenting. We celebrate this day with various activities between child and parent. This event helps to build and develop the bounding between child and parents
👉Various competitions are organized for parents. This will boost the children of confidence and also help them to learn to accept success / failure in life.
Grandparents Day – Grandparents are the bridge between past and the present. It is important that we make sure this bridge is maintained so that our future generations learn from the past and respect the wisdom. Grandparents and children share a very special bond and we at Funvally make sure this bond is further enhanced and encouraged. At Funvalley, we celebrate this day with lot of activities, dance, music & songs
Father’s & Mother’s Day – Father’s and Mother’s day is celebrated to make sure the relation between and child and father/mother is strengthened. Influence of mother and father on child’s behavior is very high. We make sure these day’s are celebrated to honour the commitment of father and mother towards child
Annual Day – It’s extravaganza event happens once a year. It’s a big platform for children at Funvalley to prepare and present themselves to the world their learnings. It’s a showcasing of year-long learnings. This yearly event is a theme based event organized in a major auditorium. This event also celebrates our UKG children graduation ceremony.
